No, I don't know this girl. Do you? Probably not, since she is just a cartoon character who has no name.
Don't dismiss her though as a nobody. Look at her face carefully. What do you see? Obviously,
you do not notice her extreme beauty because hers is really not a pretty face.
Focus your eyes on her eyes. They seem to be looking ahead intently. She is certainly looking ahead
and is doing it with seeming purpose.
Now look at the upper lefthand corner of this and the other pages that make up this web site. Then
look ahead through the title words, and you will see that the eye on the left is looking at the horizon in the upper
right corner.
What horizons are you looking at? Are you looking ahead in your life?
You won't always be fourteen, fifteen, or sixteen years old. Someday you will be well into your future. You
will be an adult with responsibilities. But will you be a responsible adult? What plans do you have for yourself?
What goals have you set for yourself? Think about it. Set goals. They may have to be altered, but sometimes you need
something to alter.
Don't be driftwood. Worse yet, don't be a lead sinker that can't float at all. Make a plan to work and
work your plan.
Not only don't be vocational driftwood, more importantly don't be spiritual driftwood.
Begin now, at your present age, to pray that God will help you see some horizons to move toward. He will.
If you yield to Him, His Holy Spirit will guide you every step of the way. Just allow Him complete control in your life.
He already has a plan for you. Let Him show you what it is. It is a plan that has been made only for your
good. That good is better than you can ever imagine. Read below what He has said through Jeremiah, one of
His Old Testament prophets.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
Let Him work His plan in you. He'll show you greater and greater horizons. Move toward them with Him.
